Patients who had unsatisfactory weight loss following jejunoileal bypass weight loss surgery, but who underwent a second surgery to revise the procedure to Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery in 13 people and gastroplasty in one person, lost an average of 90 pounds or 17 units of body mass index (BMI) after having a according to an analysis by two surgeons.
