Pot smokers weigh 11-14 pounds less than non-pot smokers according to a study by researchers from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Pot smokers had an average body mass index (BMI) of 27.2 versus 2.91 for non-pot smokers.
This is a difference of 1.9 units.
This is a difference of 11 lbs for someone who is 5-feet-4-inches tall—158 lbs versus 169 lbs.
This is a difference of 14 lbs for someone who is 6-feet tall—200 lbs versus 214 lbs.
