Dairy products linked to leaner children

Children who consume more milk and dairy products are leaner than those who consume less.
These results were reported at a meeting of the American Heart Association by Lynn Moore, an epidemiologist at Boston University School of Medicine.
She reported that just two servings of dairy a day are linked to a substantial reduction in the number of adolescents who are overweight.
Childhood dairy intake has been falling for the past 20 years.
Several recent studies have reported a higher calcium intake is also associated with lower body weight.
