Low dose Qnexa: 7.5 mg Phentermine plus 46 mg Topamax causes 5% weight loss in 62% of people vs 15%

A low dose of Qnexa, which is 7.5 mg of phentermine plus 46 mg of Topamax (topiramate), caused a weight loss of at least 5 percent in 62 percent of patients versus 15 percent given the placebo during a six month study according to a press release from press release from Vivus, Inc, the company developing the drug.
