    A full dose of Qnexa, which is 15 mg of phentermine plus 92 mg of Topamax (topiramate), caused a weight loss of at least 5 percent in 66 percent of patients versus 15 percent given the placebo during a six month study according to a press release from press release from Vivus, Inc, the company developing the drug.
