From ‘Good Calories, Bad Calories’: Insulin regulates fat storage

"Insulin is the primary regulator of fat storage," according to the new book "Good Calories Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. "When insulin levels are elevated, we stockpile calories as fat. When insulin levels fall, we release fat from our fat tissue and burn it for fuel."
I am waiting for a review copy of the book.
