Zonegran (zonesamide) causes average weight loss of 5% after eight months

Zonegran (zonesamide) causes an average weight loss of 6 percent of body weight after eight months compared to 1 percent for those given a placebo according to a analysis by the RAND Corporation.
In other words, those given Zonegran (zonesamide) lost 5 percent of body weight more than those given a placebo
One study
Their analysis only included one study.
Doses: 100 mg per day increased to 600 mg maximum
The dose was started at 100 mg per day and increased, as necessary, to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
